How to Disable IPv6 on Windows 10

Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) is the version recently released from the Internet Protocol (IP), the communications protocol that supplies location system and an identification for devices on networks and transfer traffic through the Internet. It was enhanced by (IETF) to handle the long-anticipated issue of IPv4 address limpness. IPv6 is purposed to replace IPv4, it also increases the count of IP addresses obtainable and improves auto-configuration capabilities of the network and IPv4's routing.

Open “Control Panel”.

Choose “Network and Sharing Center”.

Then from the menu on the left you have to choose “Change adapter settings”.

Choose the connection you want to adjust and select “Properties” by right clicking on it.

You will see “Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)” written beside a checkbox, which is checked, uncheck that box.

Then click “Ok”.

Now IPV6 is disabled.

Restart your PC to activate the adjustment.
